Getting started

Import macros into WoW Forever

Choose your macros, copy one import code, then review and apply it in game. No account is needed.

Allegedly Skilled Macros 0.1.8 is a test version for the English (enUS) Forever client. Researched macros still need testing in game.

One time setup

Install the addon

  1. Close WoW and unzip the addon download.
  2. Put the AllegedlySkilledMacros folder inside your Forever client’s Interface/AddOns folder.
  3. Restart WoW. At character selection, open AddOns and enable Allegedly Skilled Macros.
Already installed? Start choosing macros

Choose and import your macros

  1. Choose your class and spec

    Open Browse macros and choose your class and talent spec, or search for a spell.

  2. Check and select

    Open Details to read the macro text. Open its full page for targeting, modifier keys, requirements and sources. Select Add to pack on the macros you want.

  3. Review your pack and copy

    Open Macro Pack and remove anything you do not need. Find Import into WoW, select Create addon import, then Copy addon import.

  4. Paste and review in game

    Log into the intended character and type /asm in chat. Paste the complete code into the addon window and select Review import. Check the names, available slots and warnings. Reviewing makes no changes.

  5. Apply and try them

    While out of combat, select Apply import and check the result. Type /macro and open the character-specific tab to find new macros. Drag them onto your bars and test each one. Reused macros stay in their existing tab.

    Check again after /reload and after a normal game restart.
