Requirements

  • Rejuvenation learned; source first-learning level 4. Moonfire learned; source first-learning level 4. Each branch needs its own learned spell; selecting a spec does not grant either spell.
  • Both spells need Mana and a form that permits casting the selected spell. Moonkin Form does not permit Rejuvenation.

Known limitations

  • Researched design, not tested in the Forever client. Beta spell names, acquisition and form behavior may change.
  • The first matching branch wins. An out-of-range, obstructed, unlearned or otherwise unusable heal does not fall through to damage; resource or cooldown failure does not choose another spell.
  • Moonkin Form blocks healing in the current source. Cat/Bear forms are not a shared caster-heal and caster-damage bar. Leave an incompatible form deliberately; this macro contains no /cancelform, form selection or return-to-form action.
  • Automatic unshifting, form action-bar paging and casting from each form depend on actual client behavior and settings. No one-press shift-and-heal result is established; test before use in combat.
  • A living friendly mouseover takes priority over your selected enemy. Move the cursor off friendly units and frames when you intend to deal damage. Keep dedicated damage and tank buttons accessible.
  • Alt explicitly selects yourself. Keep Alt plus this key free of conflicting bindings; older standalone Druid support keys use Shift self instead.
  • With no living friendly mouseover and no living friendly or hostile target, the unmodified key does nothing. Hold Alt deliberately for self-healing. Enemy mouseover does not redirect the harmful action.
  • One press attempts one spell. No rotation, health/proc check, cooldown fallback, /stopcasting or /startattack command is included. Existing attack state and actual spell behavior still need client checks.
  • English spell names only. Unranked casts use a learned rank selected by the client; reference IDs do not force the first rank.
  • Rejuvenation heals over time; it is not an instant burst heal. Moonfire includes damage over time and can break damage-sensitive crowd control.
  • This key does not inspect existing healing or damage effects, choose a refresh time, or stop repeated casts from spending Mana.

Notes

  • Druid hybrid set researched 27 September 2026. Keep Healing Touch / Wrath, Rejuvenation / Moonfire and optional Regrowth / Starfire on consistent positions across Balance, Feral Combat and Restoration. These are ergonomic recommendations, not measured damage, healing or mana optima.
  • Feral Combat includes both Cat and Bear play. These pairs provide caster support after a deliberate form decision, not a replacement for Cat generators, Bear threat, Growl or defensives. Leaving Bear form to heal can sacrifice tank protection.
  • All hybrid keys use Alt self, living friendly mouseover, living friendly target, then living hostile target. Select the question-mark icon and verify dynamic tooltip behavior in the client.
  • Sharing a key gives the spells no mechanical bonus and does not cast them together. Keep Swiftmend, Wild Growth, Nature's Swiftness, emergency support and dispels separately accessible when learned or talented.
  • Ability metadata adapted from Chris Baldwin / Talents Forever, https://talentsforever.com/, CC BY 4.0: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. Original pairing recommendations and macro designs by Allegedly Skilled.
  • Secondary pair: both spells begin at source level 4, cast instantly, and apply a periodic effect. This matches a stable instant-spell position without adding a talent gate.
