Targeting and features

Living hostile mouseover → Living hostile target → No valid enemy: no action

Mouseover

Requirements

  • Hunter's Mark learned; first recorded spellbook level 6.
  • Enemy within 100 yards.

Known limitations

  • Research only: not tested in the Forever client. Beta spell names, parser behaviour and requirements may change.
  • English spell names; check your spellbook and actual learned rank. Source IDs identify reference ranks, not a forced rank-1 cast.
  • Range, line of sight, resources, cooldowns and the global cooldown still apply. A macro does not detect readiness or choose your next combat action.
  • Marking does not order a pet attack or begin Auto Shot. HARM identifies its enemy target, not direct damage.
  • The first matching unit wins. An out-of-range, obstructed, immune or otherwise unusable mouseover does not fall through to your target.

Notes

  • Researched 27 September 2026 against source beta build 1.60.1.70009. Spec lists are recommendations; actual learned spells and selected talents determine eligibility.
