Targeting and features

Current living hostile target → No living hostile target: no cast

Requirements

  • Revenge learned; first recorded spellbook level 14.
  • Requires Defensive Stance
  • Defensive Stance; a recent block, dodge or parry must have enabled Revenge.
  • A usable melee weapon and a living enemy in melee range.

Known limitations

  • Research only: not tested in the Forever client. Beta spell names, parser behaviour and requirements may change.
  • English spell names; check your spellbook and actual learned rank. Source IDs identify reference ranks, not a forced rank-1 cast.
  • Range, line of sight, resources, cooldowns and the global cooldown still apply. A macro does not detect readiness or choose your next combat action.
  • The macro does not detect or create the required reactive opportunity.
  • No separate attack-start command is included. Automatic attack behavior, including when the ability cannot be cast, still needs testing in the Forever client. Avoid pressing this key while preserving crowd control.

Notes

  • Researched 27 September 2026 against source beta build 1.60.1.70009. Spec lists are recommendations; actual learned spells and selected talents determine eligibility.
  • Ability metadata adapted from Talents Forever (Chris Baldwin), https://talentsforever.com, CC BY 4.0: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. Original macro design and summaries by Allegedly Skilled.
  • 4 October 2026, version 1.1.0: removed the separate /startattack command following player feedback. This changes the explicit attack-start behavior; it does not establish that every melee ability starts attacks automatically.
